Auscom specialise in Hydro Excavation, which is a non-destructive digging method used as an alternative to excavation trenching
Auscom have a large fleet of Vacuum Excavation trucks available to assist in all Civil and Telecommunication requirements. Hydro Excavation is a non-destructive (NDD) digging method used as an alternative to excavation trenching. Vacuum Excavations use an extremely high-pressure hose to cut into the ground causing the earth to fall apart. The benefits of vacuum excavations are the ability to regulate the PSI (pounds per square inch) to ensure the safety and management of underground assets and services not being impacted.
Our Vacuum equipment is also used to pump out pits and manholes to enable copper jointing, hauling or confined space work on job sites. The vac trucks are well equipped ranging in sizes from 2000litre to 5000 litre spoil tanks.
Vacuum excavations are utilised as well to enable high pressure jet rodders to aid in clearing blockages in conduits and rod and roping of large sections of conduits to haul cable, as well as pot holing services to aid our civil crews. Our sucker truck operators have a diverse range of skills and experience in the industry.
